Liftoff! The NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar mission has launched from Satish Dhawan Space Centre. #NISAR will scan the entire globe twice every 12 days to measure changes in Earth’s ecosystems, cryosphere, and land surface.

Do monsoon-driven stress changes modulate Himalayan seismicity? We analyze 20yrs of Nepalese seismicity & found no robust annual variation in seismicity rate but statistically significant seasonal modulation of b-values peaking in summer when Coulomb stress is at its lowest
