Tuberculosis outbreaks are popping up and the CDC is being ordered not to communicate to WHO or the public. They are scrubbing websites of information about TB, HIV and adolescent health.

Have you tried this? It's what works best for me. My hands get so dry as soon as the weather gets cold that my knuckles crack and bleed. But this stuff helps a lot.

Sometimes I get to meet very interesting people for my job. Tonight I met Miss America, who is also a nuclear engineer. She is a very nice and incredibly smart woman.

I don't bake a lot, but today, at my daughter's request, I made Pão de Ló, Portuguese sponge cake. Overall it was very good for a first try.

I did end up being a newspaper reporter and eventually editor for 20+ years. I'd like to think my fashion has improved a great deal. I still sometimes wear glasses. They're just more stylish ... maybe.
