Had a few debates with Blackpool fans last year regarding Steve Bruce.

Many of them thought he would be taking them back to the promise land.

Absolutely beyond me why any football club would employ him.

Players in the pro era are bigger, fitter and the hits are now colossal. A few years ago there had been comparisons made that being tackled was like the equivalent of being in a car crash at 30mph.

Feeling so incredibly sad for Lewis Moody and his family this evening.

No doubt there’s now an intrinsic link between those who have played rugby and have been diagnosed with MND.

Easy to say of course but more must be done to help improve player safety.

So many ridiculous things to say about that third quarter including our staggering lack of defense but if Baker Mayfield and Emeka Egbuka keep connecting like this, our offense is going to be very, very dangerous this season.

Just watched five mins of the Channel 5 ‘NFL Big Game Night.”

Not only is it an assault on the senses, but for real fans everywhere who want proper analysis, it makes a mockery of those UK broadcasters who have worked so hard over the years.

Channel 5 should be ashamed - just awful.

Interesting thoughts Mike. I believe many don’t actually realise that those in the DDR were looking for reforms and not the creation of a unified Germany following the collapse of the Stasi etc.
