Blues was so sick, malnourished, and pathetic when I found him at the shelter. His fur was just a mess of mats. They estimated his age as 8-10 years, but he barely weighed six pounds. After meds, surgeries, and regular meals, he’s doubled his weight. Now he’s my beautiful chunky buddy. #caturday

The comments as I left were that I should stay and discuss this with him. I should discuss the rights of an entire group of people who were not represented there at all. Fuck you.

If democrats like these are the last hope for saving trans rights, all hope is lost.

Today I attended a discussion at the @rowandemocrats.bsky.social offices. A man stated his option the mistake democrats made was to focus on “letting men play women’s sports”. I interrupted him asking if he did not think trans lives mattered. He sputtered but, but I’d had enough and walked out.

Funds are still frozen—despite the court orders.
