I’m just happy to be here Part-time digital nomad, RVer, lover of photography, hiking, and our amazing national parks. Proud to be a Kentucky girl. Always down to plan a road trip. Still an optimist. We are stronger when we work together. 👊 #nky #cincy

Spent 20 years on #Facebook. Had it set up just the way I like it. Built decades of friendships. Zuckerberg started force feeding me content. Then I woke up to find I was suddenly following Trump & Co. So I’m here now. Looking for #advice on building a #community in a new (to me) place. #laststraw

There have been a few moments in life when I have experienced pure joy. I wonder though if the joy would lose its intensity if the moment was experienced for all of eternity

I’m so appreciative that you took the time to read in between making stuffed cabbages!

If you hold you finger on one of my #thecampfire posts it will give you the option to search my posts by hashtag which will give you less to sort through

Energy Crisis does not sound like a fun game to play at all!

I think it was a reflection of the ethnocentrism of the 1970’s. It is a shame she didn’t teach her kids Thai. It’s one of her biggest regrets. All the evidence today points to the fact that being multi-lingual is great for kid’s overall brain development.

Every Sunday my husband cooks up one of his mother’s recipes and leaves it warm on the stove for the family to snack on throughout the day. It is a wonderful Sunday tradition

You will be missed but we’ll look forward to a new story next month!

Unlike their human namesakes 😂

Such a sweet story! I think the man who loved you and raised you is much more of a real father than the man who conceived you.

My husband had a truck lose it’s load in front of him. Big metal poles came bouncing toward him. Car was messed up. He came out of it okay, other than the fact that he still doesn’t like driving behind semis with open truck beds.

Wow! That’s some impressive driving to make it through that!

That is so scary! It’s awful that this could happen so fast and with so many witnesses. Although maybe the witnesses are what kept you alive. Glad you survived to tell the tale!

I have definitely benefited from their love of Thai food. I’ve enjoyed many delicious meals

I do the same thing! Once on a wander through an historic village, an elderly man pulled up in an old Buick. He noticed me reading the plaque. He leaned out the window and said, “My grandparents owned that house” and proceeded to tell me about spending his childhood summers on that farm.

That love of Thai cooking has continued to the next generation. My youngest daughter sends pictures to my husband and MIL of the Thai family recipes she is now making in her own kitchen ❤️

I’ve never looked that closely at them. They are usually just swooping in to chase the other birds away from my feeder. When they are not flapping and squawking, they are really beautiful birds.
