It's not strategic at this point to alienate other groups that are a part of our community and who are also being marginalized by Trump's policies. It's time to recruit and listen to the community that isn't us.

It seems to me, bottom line, that we need our local, community police force to be on our side or at the very least, conflicted. If we keep pitting ourselves against the police force at this time, we are likely to have no allies if Trump chooses to become more oppressive.

If we are going to cast our local police forces, who are funded by us to protect us, as enemies, then who is going to protect our community from ICE against immigrants, ICE against citizens, ICE as an army under the rule of fascists.

I'm disgusted by these "reality show" scenes. The only reason the cameras are on is that trump has nothing of consequence to say. His behavior is disgraceful to everyone who visits. I don't think anyone should go to these "meetings," and I don't think anyone should watch for that matter.
