I don't mind, and personally prefer, blurring of class identity if it help to distinguish heroes within a class. In your example, i like that mario's dagger attacks/pumps make them unique from other assassins, while also having disruption which currently feels somewhat unique to the class.

Yeah, good point. Cost can be balanced so it can't just be activated off tunic or vigor token, or it can specify an attack of a specific type or cost

Ooo, this could be good. The randomness of not getting go again and IPing themselves with cards left in hand may not be a good play experience but those don't have to be the exact abilities either. Form of 'blank' could leave a lot of possible options

Stats and costs may be subject to tweaks for balancing but idea is flexibilty to go wide or tall depending on your cards in hand and game state or matchup
