Yes. The argument for NOT banning phones involves school shootings but no one’s banning phones in schools as a response to school shootings. Yet ppl are shouting “ban guns first.” Phone use in schools is not downriver of gun reg. They are related in one direction not bi-directionally

Whenever I talk with friends about this, it always starts off with “not having a problem with trans people but” and two seconds later they’re talking about losing scholarships. I wish the “why do they care” left would understand that to the right it’s a class issue.

Not a young person problem. The entire grift economy (from dating coaches to wellness influencers to conspiracy theory evangelists) appeals to people who want to believe a silver bullet is the difference between how things are and the way they think they should be. Many people don’t age out of that

I say this all the time! Internet is up there with planes, trains, and automobiles. AI is holding court with Excel, email, and Instagram. Silicon Valley acting like AI is the new printing press. It’s just not.
