Had a pint glass shatter in my hand today while behind the bar. I feel like I got off light with a very minor cut to my palm/webbing in between my thumb and pointer finger. Not sure if I should take this as an ominous sign to start 2026 or consider myself lucky it wasn’t far worse. Maybe both.

Bought myself a Switch 2 as my Hanukkah/Bday gift to myself this year. Initially I told myself I wouldn’t get one until the next Animal Crossing was announced. Instead they announced the upgrade to NH w/free content which was close enough to trigger my poor impulse control lol.

Finally watched Cena’s final match. When he first came on the scene I was not a fan. A lot of my favorites were being pagases out for new faces I mostly didn’t connect with yet. Eventually I would but it was a long time before I warmed to Cena. Over the last several years though my appreciation grew

Car took my whole paycheck this week. New battery on Monday & then a flat on Tuesday prompting a new set of tires. I guess that my holiday shopping lol.

Did a little retail therapy this week. Don’t know if it really helped or was just an excuse to get some new iems and a few new pocket knives. I’ll tell myself it helped but I probably won’t know I feel better until I just do.

Season 3 is my least favorite season of Scrubs. Season 9 doesn’t count because of the collective agreement that it simply doesn’t exist. But watching JD sabotage things with Elliot is always 100% depressing to me even though it does even out down line.

I’m trying to figure out how FedEx is going to get a package that was supposed to be delivered this past Friday from North Carolina to Maryland by “end of day”. Especially given it originated in Virginia and they sat on if for days with zero updates. They dumb.

Finally (finally) fired up Alan Wale 2 this week. Holy shot I’d been missing out. The original was easily my favorite survival horror game and this one blew it away in the opening hours.
