Horizon Worlds going to smartphones can't be a surprise to anyone can it? It started around 2023....

The idea that the REAL VR mod is using someone else's assets doesn't hold water in my eyes. I need to own the game, and it pushes them in to my VR headset. That's it.

Benefitting from the IP according to CDPR is fine only to a "reasonable" level. Get too big, get your wrists slapped.

I am suggesting they do it full time. Full-time is how we get someone at the top of their game. It's how we get access to complex and deep games in VR, with well supported mods, updated reliably, across a wide range of games.

There is no chance in hell I'd work full time for a maybe promise of some donations later. I'm sure as hell not going to expect anyone else to.

Others disagree, but they are excusing worse-than-gig pay conditions.

CDPR only allow donations to a "reasonable" level. Take a guess what that means.

I know of only one other modder who is trying to be as ambitious with the quality, number and range of titles being covered. It's not easy. We want the best mods, quickly, and have them updated when they break, but expect modders to work for random good will gestures. It's not sustainable full-time.

Why should anyone have to rely on the gig economy to make a living. It's crazy. Rather than pulling people down to the lowest level, we should be looking for ways for others to have stability in their employment and businesses.

The pain of travelling anywhere in combat ships. Hopefully docked on a carrier.

There are even entries logged of no ship, which I'd love to imagine are commanders getting spaced but somehow managing to stay alive long enough to talk about it.

The site collects the stats from the log files via a locally installed app, so maybe 195 was a Mandalay or exploraconda with a stage 3 (100%) synthesised jump boost? Can a Mandalay get over 92 though?

Likewise! I'm not huge into JRPG generally, but the stories are usually well told, and characters memorable. Sometimes for the wrong reasons. It's an adventure in VR, and I'm glad to help it come to life.
