I didn’t click on the link because of the paywall. Did they ever consider providing a monetary incentive, like future ride discounts? Or did they just, rightly, conclude that busy people aren’t going to act as their unpaid laborers?

It’s got to be some sort of trick!!! It certainly can’t be because you’re a great writer who creates characters and worlds that both men and women want to read about.

Nodding my head as I carefully carve out a chipless section of the chocolate chip cookie I’m eating so my dog can have some.

It was actually first published in 1992… (Time flies when you’re having fun)

Xoomer here: Does anyone remember a book that was published in the early ‘80s called “Your Money or Your Life”? It asked the question: Are you making a living or are you making a dying? It was about how you are trading your life for a wage. So how are you going to “spend” your life? Transformational

Exactly. Native born Americans don’t stick with low skill (simple, repetitive) assembly jobs because they’re boring. Nor do we have enough tech high schools to turn out NBAs who have the basic education and trainability for higher skilled assembly tech jobs on the higher tech products. We’re screwed!

Make sure you give yourself a couple days to regain your equilibrium after you finish it. It is potent stuff!
