Isn't that when said player moves "too wide" or "too deep", making it impossible to follow them tight without opening up too much for other attackers to hurt you?

That's ok, I'm sure you get a lot of those. The x represents the price paid for the player, and the y represents the ppm required for that player to defend his price. This is not my formula, so any underlyings are unknown to me as well. It was just meant as food for thought.

Well, that's a surprisingly defensive response to an honest question. I obviously understand that numbers will not be exactly the same in 2024, which is why I specify that the formulas are from 2021. The formulas does however take into account that defenders have lower base costs.

Are you sure about this? Back in 2021, Saka would need to score 6,1 points per match to defend his current price. He's averaging 7.3 ppm this season.

Everything else aside, what is even the problem with players taking their shirt off? A yellow card for a nothing event is so pointless.

8 goals, 4 assists between his 4th and 5th yellow card back in 2016.

Not me, because I wanted to relive the Diego Costa experience.

It's hard to put into words how excited I am to get that 1 pointer from him as a starter rather than as a sub.

I'm happy with this. A good sign for the coming gameweeks.
