Halifax has no CFL or NHL to compete for season tickets. VIC (Langford) area performs better than Vancouver because there is no MLS team. Kelowna would have been better alternative perhaps; Quebec City instead of Laval; London instead of York Utd.? Pacific and Valour had similar attendance…?

Winnipegers tend to go to winning teams. Remember not to long ago Winnipeg Jets had lack of support until they made playoffs again… My theory was that Valour ownership didn’t even want to make the playoffs because then they would have to open the stadium at a time Bombers get all the attention…

The thing is maybe the expectations have always been wrong. CPL should have needed to look more at similar “summer” leagues from countries like Norway, Finland or even Iceland where you see many teams in the 2000 to 4000 range as well.
