Working today with a Turkish gentleman with problematic behaviours in his marriage. Trying hard to keep my own cultural heritage from making me biased but this is hard to navigate when harm is actually happening

Fighting for a woman being evicted from her home and her children being removed from a school they have been with for 4 years because the council will no longer fund her
She is NRPF and had to flee domestic abuse and was supported for 2 years only for the council to pull the rug from under her.

Initial meeting today with a mum who has experienced violent threats and verbal attacks from an ex who is now out on bail and location unknown. It’s so hard to support a victim when the justice system lets them down
