Aegirocassis, the whale of the Ordovician! Named after the Norse sea god Aegir, this giant filter feeder was the largest anomalocaridid, reaching 2 meters and feeding primarily on plankton just like modern whales.

A mated pair of Lisowicia trundle through a conifer forest. I'm not super happy with this piece (I really struggled with the lighting), but I'm glad I attempted a plant-heavy background with this Cheirolepidiaceae forest.
