the problem here is thinking that they actually read the books they ban, but it’s quite a shame the treatment turtles all the way down’s been given, when it’s probably one of the best books for teenagers about ocd, aza was like a friend when the world didn’t understand what i was feeling :]
Far be it from me to try to get in the heads of book banners, but the list of my books removed from schools makes absolutely no sense. Turtles is widely banned even though it's the least explicit of my novels (the main character is terrified of kissing), whereas TFIOS--where they DO IT--is not...
