"getting to be the high school bully i was not powerful enough to be in high school, but safely from behind my screen and with tribal reinforcement" ... turns out to appeal to a lot of people, regardless of politics

"white flight" is a nice rebranding of "not getting in" though

Vibe based political cleavages gonna make for such a dark era of poli sci analysis.

The regression around people understanding what “liberal” (small l) means correlates to politics becoming more extreme and shitty

Is this person not actually reading what Claude is telling them along the way?

For every iteration of my earlier apps, when I pasted in the output code, I learned what it saw went wrong, and it told me how it was going to adjust the code. And nothing prevented me from trying to read that code.

deleted some subsequent posts that I realized MAYBE had some keys in them as I was debugging ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anyway was 3 rounds of debugging and it worked.

Absolutely -- just had to wait since I accidentally hit a 'rate limit exceeded' (and then improved code for that haha). Let me just paste my prompts, as embarrassing as that is. I'd just downloaded VS Code and Claude for Mac prior to this.

lol, based on your inspiration (and not wanting to pay $7/mo to Redact) I installed VS Code and Claude today...

... and self building a "removed likes and replies older than 14 days" script. and it seems to be working!

first time since '01 HTML/javascript coding, and damn, it does work well.
