Well, that is something that you can talk to Dr. Ocobock about. She knows more about these topics than the both of us combined.

“Many people will likely point out that men are still outperforming women in long-distance events. This is true, but it is also changing.”

Highlight the last sentence.

Sex in Sport: Men Don’t Always Have the Advantage
An anthropologist discusses how research reveals female-male athletes differences, on average. But they cut both ways.

“The binary scheme of sex categorization is a false dichotomy: a dichotomy that is misunderstood and misappropriated in ways that can cause harm. This is the dichotomy that I must work within, as most if not all research on athletes considers sex a binary attribute.”

“There are different ways to define biological sex (based on the presence of gonads, internal and external genitalia, chromosomes, or hormones). None of these consistently present a clear and hard boundary between male and female; instead, each presents a range of variation.”

What I’m saying is that things aren’t always black and white as we think. We’re not scientists, so both of us have a small understanding about sex and gender. We can’t solely depend on what we learned in biology class at high school. Biology goes beyond way beyond that.
June 12, 2025 at 5:22 AM
Whether it’s long or short, an advantage is an advantage. When we talk about advantages, we often forget that there are nuances. Plus, there are non-biological factors that give men an advantage over women in sports, but we rarely talk about them.

Regarding cycling:

“Targeted studies have found that while male bodies do on average generate more power on a bicycle, female riders are capable of pedaling at a matched intensity.”

I know that I’m not a scientist, but I’m curious. Are you a scientist? If so, are you in the field of biology?

I ask this because you seem so knowledgeable in the area of sex and gender.

DSDs and intersex issues should be relevant due to the fact many intersex individuals rarely have any say in regard to healthcare.

Maybe talk to Dr. Ocobock about advantage:

People who believe in gender criticism believe that sex is binary, but they fail to understand that there is more to determining sex than just looking at chromosomes or the genitalia. Chances are, people who do call themselves gender critical don’t even know what their own chromosomes are.

And I guess that you’re the top expert on opinions.

SheWon also added Michelle Lesco, a Nathan’s Hot Dog eating contest champion in the women’s division, to the list after a radio jockey once joked about her being trans. Lesco clarified that she was not a trans woman, yet SheWon decided to keep her on the list.
June 12, 2025 at 3:20 AM
And about your source, SheWon:

Did you know that both SheWon and HeCheated included “sports” that do not appear to have a sex-based “biological advantage” at all such as poker, darts, billiards, and competitive oyster shucking?

Sounds shady, doesn’t it?

First of all, that article that I sent was a fact check and not an opinion piece.

Secondly, since you can’t comprehend the contents of the article that I sent, here’s another article which points out that there were less than 10 trans athletes in college sports.

One more thing, and I promise I’ll be done. After reading Koswerski’s article, it would not shock me if Gaines later reveals that she was paid to join anti-trans causes just like Norma McCorvey revealed that she was paid to join anti-abortion causes after Roe.

Which account from Gaines do we believe?

Her telling Konwerski about how she never felt uncomfortable around Lia?

Or

Her going on Fox News since Konwerski’s interview to talk about feeling “traumatized” and having experienced “extreme discomfort” with sharing a locker room with Lia?

Which one?
June 11, 2025 at 4:11 PM
Which story is true?

Gaines’s story saying that she didn’t believe that Lia would intentionally put herself in a position that would make others uncomfortable.

Or

Gaines’s story claiming that Lia sexually harassed her and the other swimmers by “dropping her pants” and “exposing male genitalia”.
June 11, 2025 at 4:00 PM
Konwerski said,

“Gaines admits to me that she doesn’t think Lia would intentionally put herself in a position that would make others uncomfortable, yet now she claims Lia sexually harassed her and the other swimmers by “dropping his pants” and “exposing male genitalia”.”

Which one is it?
June 11, 2025 at 3:53 PM
It doesn’t erase that Gaines can’t keep her story straight based on her answers that she gave to Konawerski.

If someone came to you and said something about a person, then later on you find out they’re saying the opposite of what they told you about that same person, would you still believe them?
June 11, 2025 at 3:12 PM
Regardless of the video, it doesn’t erase the answers that Gaines provided to Konwerski about the locker room situation.

After the interview with Konwerski, she changed her story when she was on Fox News. She went from, “I was never uncomfortable around Lia” to “I was traumatized around Lia.”
