You can only forgive what people ask forgiveness for. He hasn't asked for forgiveness he has asked for us to say it's OK to banter in the 1970s. He asked us to pretend that we all did it back then. But we didn't we aren't racist. He should only be forgiven when he accepts he was wrong.
