A really interesting piece on the position the BBC is in and why. Also on the considerable pressures on journalists from Robbie Gibb and his friend David Grossman about what they can say & the fear journalists felt. A senior editor asked Lewis Goodall-what the PM (Johnson) will think abouthis report

Hilarious from Macdonald. I haven't forgotten the Corbyn ineptitude and chaos so quickly.

Corbyn and Macdonald and their followers have a really long history of undermining Labour leaders ...

All about the message and not the ability for action.

Hardly: it's by John Macdonald.

This sums up a lot of our media's reporting on today's UK EU reset. The vox pop were particularly cringing.

Daniel Hannan, the master of self-awareness and self-reflection.

It's not long to wait for Daniel Hannan Day, when we can all appreciate the sunny uplands of Brexit.

BBC is not even hiding its bias now.

Look at the order of importance given to news reports on their website.

Ukraine and economic growth are minor details. A CV is more important than Trump's denying Ukraine a say in their own future. Even DM is referring to it as appeasement.

Who looks at pictures like this and thinks and then says beachfront and Riviera?

The Daily Mail which is running Hitler's 'secret girlfriend's diary' misrepresents last summer's far right RIOTS as merely a 'rampage' that was 'allowed' by anti terror failings & Starmer only 'claims' there was no cover-up.

Misrepresents? No. Lies.

This is from a Guardian article on a letter by victims of male violence. They've written in defence of Jess Phillips against the attacks on her.

Shameful.

Tim Stanley. You can disagree, of course. But this demeans British politics and the Telegraph. You've taken a serious issue and politicised an awful situation and victims.

You know full well Starmer does not think or believe this.

An apology is absolutely required.

But the Resolution Foundation found that growth in per capita real household disposable income was negative for the period of the last parliament. It was the worst on record.
