I want to spend time in my world, with my characters. I want to develop the book like a relationship, with a significant investment of time and energy.

And to be quite frank, I'm only interested in consuming art that was ALSO produced with that level of care and effort.

I've been using it for a few months now with no issues. I like it a lot. I can't say I 100% trust anything at this point but they did immediately make a blog post today saying no to LLMs in response to Mozilla.

Oh, bummer. Yeah, just looks like macOS but not iOS... From a cursory look, I'm not sure if there are any Firefox forks that Are supported on iOS yet...

I've seen others mention Vivaldi, and it has iOS - vivaldi.com/ios/

Won't be the same experience as Firefox, but at least it's a non-AI option.

For more clarity - Waterfox particularly is privacy-focused/uses no AI. That's not inherent of all forks out there 😅

Like it branches off of Firefox. It's built from the same source code and then modified. So it's very similar to Firefox experience-wise (the UI is almost identical, supports similar plug-ins, etc.), but has been modified for better user privacy and has no AI by default.

I've been using Waterfox for a while now. It's a fork of Firefox that strips the AI and focuses on privacy.

If you're interested in replacements at all, I've really been liking Waterfox, which is a Firefox fork that focuses on privacy & no AI.
