At this point, I would settle for a Congress OR a Supreme Court that takes their oaths with humility, honor, and love for country -- by performing the basic checks & balances we know to be sacred duties bestowed upon them by our founding fathers and the Constitution.

There used to be a time where the majority don't always win, and the minority can still sometimes win. But today's politics are simply a bunch of rubber stamps for 1 man. Love and honor for country died the moment we elected a convicted felon. Just look at the Dems we elected to Congress. *cricket*

It isn't the Constitution. Our founding fathers saw this coming. They just never thought that the other 2 branches will not perform their sacred duties as check and balances. And they gave too much trust that the people will not elect a convicted felon.

Absolutely! There is no/zero reason for him or any other agency(ies) to have this much access/control over such a vital and core system within our government. This is pure greed and corruption. One day, Musk will realize that a President can only serve so many years. His protection will end.

The mainstream media used to help us keep elected officials and the government honest. It was part of their job. It's even in the Constitution (freedom of the press). Now, they are more interested in covering their bottom lines. Even firing good journalists. Maybe Trump is right. Fake News....

When will Dems make a fuss about Elon (not an official government employee) breaching secured government servers and accessing our private data. This is an assault and theft on all of us by an unqualified private individual. DOGE is an advisory entity. It had no authority whatsoever.

Also, that makes it even worse as he is offically just a private individual who now have access to information he should not have.

That may be so, but I doubt it gave him the authority to brute force himself into gaining access to our private information. Other real agencies, when they need something, they make a request for information. Especially agencies unrelated to the Executive branch.

Elon should be under arrest right now. He is not a government employee. DOGE is just an advisory group with no authority to do anything. He breached and gained access to private information for every person living in the US. This is theft and assault - crimes. He can't even pass security clearances.

It would be easier for Canada and Mexico to increase trade amongst themselves, bypassing the USA for non-essentials. And also start looking at increasing trade with other countries. America is just one country. There are lots of other countries to trade with.

Security clearances have little meaning now when the guy giving out the clearances is a convicted felon. There used to be a time that if you are a felony, you can't even work at McD. Background checks are just an inconvenience to them. To them, one man is more important than our country.

Unfortunately, they will just tell you that you have "TDS" -- a term they somehow accidentally created/came up with that perfectly explains their sickness. Trump is quite deranged, and they all caught his sickness. It is a pandemic. I know you care, but currently, there is no cure for their TDS.

I know a christian that uses the Bible as a photo-op/publicity stunt. He also sells real "patriotic bibles" because he is poor. And when he took his oath of office, he made sure to not put his christian hand on the Bible. And all his "real christian" followers know he is a real christian, like them.
