I can see Republicans agreeing to pay the military during this shutdown to use it as a pretence that they are the good guys, and to box in the Dems, while still refusing to restore tax subsidies for healthcare insurance. Of course it won’t work. Americans will demand that BOTH get funded.

It’s crazy that Pam Bondi defends these political charges against Trump’s “enemies” by saying that Trump has been an open book about this for ages, as if talking openly about it makes it legal. Every lawyer involved in prosecuting these frivolous cases will not have a job in three years time.

Hahaha. That’s how you deal with a narcissist. I had one as a roommate. After a while I realised arguing with him is exciting engagement to him. So I just stopped engaging/talking to him. It took away all the winds in his sails, was bliss for me. Forced him to decide to move by making life hell.

Watching this Nobel Prize for Physics announcement makes me sad and angry at the same time. Three Californian scientists won for their work on quantum physics many years ago, which speaks volumes for American intellectual brilliance at that time. Then Trump. Will we win in the future. Or will China?
