Week 7 of the Du Bois visualization challenge in ggplot/R!! #DuBoisChallenge2024

Two similar charts, one the hand drawn original, the other a modern recreating using a computer. The chart is a horizontal bar chart comparing the illiteracy of Black Americans (in red) to other countries (in green) in the late 1800s. Black American illiteracy rates fall in the middle of the range, lower than countries like France, but better than others like Russia.
