You don't really need to optimize in Morrowind though. Like as long as you use a weapon that you actually have as a major skill and pay attention to your fatigue meter you'll be fine.

Made this the first game I played after upgrading to a 4070ti super. I don't usually geek out about graphics tech but the game is honestly gorgeous with path tracing on. I've spent an inordinate amount of time just driving around and looking at the city.

The learning curve for them is pretty much a cliff. It probably takes me around 100 hours to feel confidently like I know what I'm doing when I pick up a new one.

Endless Legend is probably my favorite 4x of all time. It really feels like a modern Alpha Centauri with more of a science-fantasy aesthetic.
