A big part of me wants to give the ultimate middle finger to the romantasy subgenre by writing what I haven't seen in a long time: a fantasy LOVE STORY. As in actually about a relationship and not hot sex between werebeasts and fae with six packs.

Men should be held accountable for the actions of other men, and men need to do better stopping other men from engaging in abusive behavior. Why is it wrong to ask the same of women? Why am I the asshole for saying women also need to learn to respect boundaries and hold each other accountable?

As per usual, it's perfectly fine when it's a man being assaulted and the usual suspects come out of the woodwork to belittle a male victim and act like women can't possibly hurt men. Disgusting

I will never forget being in NYC in 2000, after Guiliani cracked down on fireworks. A guy at a park offered to sell us some cocaine, we declined and asked if he knew where we could find fireworks. He looked at us like we were crazy and said "fireworks? But they're illegal now." 🤦🏽‍♂️
