Why do all of these people have such poor grammar/punctuation? It takes work to write that poorly.

His ceiling seems to be replacement-level QB play. He was always a silly prospect. He’s a tiny little man who doesn’t have a scramble game. It is insane that people convinced themselves that he was going to be a star in a game dominated by monsters.

My daughter and I both got really sick and had to visit an ER while on vacation in Croatia. I was terrified of what it would cost, but we were in really bad shape.

$7 for her, $100 for me. All in, including the medicine.

South Yorkville. Was the best I’ve seen since being in Iceland 15 years ago.

I haven’t seen an all-22 clip of it. That was my initial thought live, but I’m not so sure. That is a play where I think Caleb could have thrown it just a split second earlier and it would have been an easier catch. Tough play either way- that’s easily my least concerning drop of the day.

Love the commitment to blocking from Cole & Colston. Burden, too.

OK, but come on, be fair- aside from the 5 huge categories of things that Americans spend roughly 95% of their money on, things are great.

It would be really nice if words still actually meant something.

Wright's doing this with one arm. Did the same to Maxx Crosby a year or two ago. He is a monster.

At least two were TDs. One of those was on 4th down, too- that was the DJ drop- so it resulted in a turnover on downs on the NYG 30. Really hard catch, but I think he could have made it. The other, by OZ, they still ended up scoring a TD on the drive 2 plays later, so it didn't matter TOO much.

It's really nice of Russ to try and keep him company. Good guy.
November 11, 2025 at 7:27 PM
Yeah, makes sense. Wildly frustrating day in that regard. CW had real accuracy issues most of 2024, and to start 2025, but has really started to dial it in recently. Going from "deep ball off target" to "deep ball on target, but receivers can't catch" is maddening. I'm sure they'll improve though.

Like... what else did you do during rehab, if not work on mental mastery of the offense you were going to run once you were healthy? My fear as a Bears fan was that JJ would come out in week 1 this year with a pretty deep understanding of the system, because he had nothing better to do in 2024.
November 11, 2025 at 7:18 PM
Bears fans have been hyperventilating over our false start issues (and other pre-snap penalties, but mostly FS) since camp. We're averaging TWO per game, and it's still considered a pretty big & frustrating issue. This is Caleb's first year in Ben's O. JJ has been learning KOC's O for 1.5 years...
November 11, 2025 at 7:10 PM
I think Bears fans are spoiled in this regard. JF had similarly special qualities in this department… unfortunately, his also came with an incalculable number of THROW THE BALL THROW THE BALL THROW THE BALL moments. Caleb has that same elusiveness, but doesn’t have to use it nearly as much.
November 11, 2025 at 6:48 PM
I’m surprised it wasn’t 8 or 9. The Bears win by 14+ if their receivers catch even half of those passes.
November 11, 2025 at 4:54 PM
Re: Love: "He doesn’t have the sense for when to go into hero mode and when to dial it back"

I think his biggest problem is that his "hero mode" is really more like "huck it and pray it works out" mode. He really does not have the arm talent that he has inexplicably been given credit for.

20 total points in 2 home games. And one was against the Panthers, who are certainly improved but aren’t anywhere near a top tier squad.
November 11, 2025 at 2:20 PM
If his receivers only drop 2 passes instead of 8-9, he has another Offensive Player of the Week performance on his resume, and the Bears win that game with zero drama by 2 scores.
November 11, 2025 at 2:18 PM
This game was the ultimate “tell me you didn’t watch the game without telling me you didn’t watch the game” example. CW’s #s are pretty pedestrian- 55% comp, 220 yds, 1 TD. But he was EXCEPTIONAL. Very good accuracy, elite escapability, some insane throws, clutch scrambles in gotta have it moments.

I mean, you could also just say these movies will take place before the other movie where he died.

1 home does not equal 1 mortgage. It’s entirely reasonable to think that while living somewhere for 12 years, you may refi once or twice.
November 11, 2025 at 12:09 AM
The best part of that sequence was that he doubled-down on the bad decision. It was bad originally; when the Bears committed the penalty and he had the chance to go again from even closer, it got even dumber. I was flabbergasted. I thought, FOR SURE, the 12 men flag would end the game, W for NYG.
