I was getting quite a few for a while. The level seems to have dropped a little from a few weeks ago. I'm suspicious of their legitimacy.

It's easier to get Americans enraged about the government spending money than it is to get them to understand what it's used for.

The answer might be more complex than that. Traditional journalism has been drowned and starved by algorithmically delivered clickbait and propaganda. There really isn't much of a news media anymore, at least by the standards of a couple of decades ago.

Rage and sadness for your people. I am ashamed that my country has turned their backs on the brave and good people of Ukraine. I can only hope that my county regains its senses soon before we too are invaded and murdered by Putin.
