It’s actually kinda nuts to think about how social media made it possible for me to earn money from art…. As a kid, becoming an artist was out of the question cause who would pay for my art in Finland (no one), but then the internet and social media boomed and now things are different.

I’ve met several of my good friends through social media, and also working as a digital artist in Finland would be pretty much impossible if it’s wasn’t for social media. Pretty much my clients are from abroad who discovered be though social media.

I applied for a freelance English-Finnish linguistic support role for a certain company, and they just sent me an email with a contract for English-Hungarian and English-Romanian with an hourly rate that was less than half of what was originally promised. This better be just a whoopsie
