That’s fair. And tbh, Cignetti probably colors a lot of this. People (sometimes including me) see that and say “if INDIANA can do this, why isn’t my team an unstoppable juggernaut??” It’s unfair, but I suppose we wouldn’t be fans if we weren’t at least a little crazy

I agree with that, and honestly I don’t have strong feelings one way or the other on Sherrone at this point. I don’t think he’s done anything that would deserve firing, but I get the concerns people have about whether he can meet the expectations this team has over the next two years

The Wisconsin losses were bad, and it took time for Harbaugh to build. Maybe it’s unfair to judge Moore harshly in year 2. Feels like with NIL and the portal though, the expectation is that you can and should build a winner quickly

Idk, I watched those games and felt like they were dominated against both USC and Oklahoma. Oklahoma made dumb mistakes to let us hang around, and I had a brief surge of hope after the Haynes 75-yarder to open the second half. But never seemed like a game they were going to win

I think the record was about as expected, the rough part was being completely non-competitive in all three losses
