Ich würde das sogar relativieren, wenn es tatsächlich um eine Verbesserung ginge. Das bedeutet also freie Wahlen, Hilfsgüter, Prozess gegen Maduro in Venezuela (wegen Verbrechen gegen Menschenrechte und Verfassung) statt Schauprozess (Kokainschmuggel, lol) in den USA.

Also, if Greenland becomes part of the US, next the "need" Iceland to protect Greenland and so on. I know, that's a shock for the USA, but having boarders to other nations, even more than 2, is absolutely normal.

Well... It kinda is. And even more it's like Poland 1939. There are actual treaties of mutual protection. It's the US that seems willing to throw away it's own sphere of influence (and I am sure China and Russia are more than happy to help with that).

Maybe not. But the history of Nazi Germany showed us, that you have to stand up early to make things short and less deadly.
I would hope, if this bad case should come, that a single sunken big warship (maybe even a aircraft carrier) may be enough to flip the public opinion in the US.

Wäre es nicht irgendwie schlauer alte Gesetze auslaufen zu lassen? Warum sollte man denn moderne Gesetze wegwerfen, aber alte behalten, außer man will zurück in die alte Zeit und das kann doch... Oh, ja, deshalb.

Wäre es nicht irgendwie schlauer alte Gesetze auslaufen zu lassen? Warum sollte man denn moderne Gesetze wegwerfen, aber alte behalten, außer man will zurück in die alte Zeit und das kann doch... Oh, ja, deshalb.

Hab aber ne GeForce, in sofern ist das Problem leider beständig.
Davon ab haben wir da natürlich auch Hardware Abhängigkeit, das ist ja noch ein ganz eigenes Thema.

Gerade Steam läuft seit Steam OS auch sehr gut mit anderem Linux zusammen. Für mich ebenfalls einer der Gründe den Umstieg gerade vorzubereiten. Schade irgendwie, aber so geht's ja nicht weiter.

Als Nicht-Autokratie ist das halt weniger wirksam gegen uns. Was soll schon sein? Klingbeil übernimmt für den Moment und der Bundestag wählt nen neuen Kanzler aus der CDU. Wow. Glückwunsch.

I hope Venezuela can get back on track to democratic socialism and also better economic development. We all know the US won't be helpful.

Genau. Z.B. indem er den USA bösartig seine Ölfelder gezeigt hat und sie damit dazu verführt hat zuzugreifen. Was sollen sie auch machen? Die Selbstbeherrschung von Ölkonzernen ist doch auch endlich. Das muss man verstehen.

Grönland vermutlich. Kuba wäre auch denkbar. Rein ideologisch wäre das am passendsten. Kanada ist mit gewaltigen Risiken verbunden. Grönland wäre der ultimative Test. Je näher die Wahlen, desto wahrscheinlicher könnte auch das sein.

Aber auch nur betreffend US Gesetze. Internationales Recht bedeutet selbst diesen Leute offensichtlich nicht allzuviel, auch wenn sie die Gründe für die Gesetze offenbar immerhin verstehen.

It's hard to predict if the people will fight (Ukraine showed this just some years ago). But I doubt that they will be happy to get their oil taken away for US companies.

The decision of the court is highly disputed, even in the US. This doesn't make Bush less of a president. He might not be legitimately in office, but he was and that's all that counts. You can't just say "he's not the president" and kidnap him.

So the argument is that attacking the head if state is an act of war therefore it's a war and therefor the head of state / commander of army is a valid target?
So any commander is a valid target, always, without even a declaration of war? Would the US support this argument for their president?
