We made our own trails today in the fresh snow. So did rabbits, squirrels, deer and some type of small rodent. Where’s Tully? She’s in the picture somewhere.

Street garden is looking a bit unruly in this section. But the birds like it.

Couldn’t get a great shot but saw three suburban deer strolling down the road this morning.

I grow Cuban Oregano as a houseplant because I love the smell of the leaves. A subtle lime scent when you rub them.

Overwintering Bullseye Salmon geranium in the porch. Was easy to start from seed.

Northern garden update. Got snow cover and four winter sowing jugs ready.

At -17 Fahrenheit bubbles freeze and finches puff up to the size of cardinals.

Fluffy snow in the sugar maple grove.
Snow is falling and can be seen against the dark brown maple trees. The color scheme is shades of white and gray, even the trees look brownish gray.

It’s really cold so I’m going to winter sow today.

The bunnies party by the whiskey planters.
