Welp, I was able to get a kill in without fainting myself in a group of randoms, so that's progress. Arkveld throws some goddamn hands though, so I don't know if a 20 minute hunt is within my reach during the beta.

Watched Sonic 3 today and had a good time. It had some great stuff for fans of the series but felt like it was being hard carried by Jim Carrey if you didn't have nostalgia for the series/weren't the target audience for all of the references.
