I wanted to see if I could mash up a pride flag and a US flag and it became an interesting design challenge. I also just enjoy contemplating everything that these symbols could evoke when combined like this.

Red, Yellow, Green, Cyan, Blue, Magenta,

is better than ROYGBIV any day of the week.

Orange is basically just yellow anyway, and “Blue” is doing a whole lot of work representing Bright Cyan AND deep Blue.
