The sign behind me is killing me. What transpired here

The future of Korean INDIE games are super promising. These are talented people who have a story to tell, or an interesting premise to show. They are fruitful than any moment we had in game development. People with ambitions making their own title, and a few companies acknowledging their work.

But the brutal truth is, if they approach any language with the attitude of seeing it as mere subjects you learn in school, they'll never reach it in their desired time, or at all. Language carries so much than just rules and vocabs, it's the vibe, the culture, and the way of thinking.

It's not their skill, it's their attitude towards learning a language. Beacuse of our education system, too many people think that English is another school subject, and they want it just to use it in short bursts in business or entrance exams.

I guess even as a pro player you can't discard the old habit of raking kills for the frags, what they did that round was nowhere near tactical.
Not to mention most matches just ending up being whoever shoots first in SYSHORIZON...
I feel bad for all the people who prepared this event.

More often than not people evaluating other's English proficiency here in Korea seem to understand English as just that. A stat to evaluate. And now they're soulless as to not even see that the supposed answer shares the same idea of one other option in tbe choices. Predictable and disappointing.

ANY LANGUAGE conveys so much more than bare bones information. Nuances and subtle word choices lead to different outcomes and sometimes misunderstandings. To think it would be fine to skip learning languages while wanting to work in that language is just... complete hubris/ignorance combo.
