Quite often I tell patients “everything is connected” when talking about the body. If nothing else, your entire nervous system is connected. Your pain point is almost always the victim, not the culprit. Get a good PT to find the culprit. #physicaltherapy #rehabilitation #movementismedicine

It’s a great day to be active 😃 I tell all of my patients (especially the retired folks) find an activity you enjoy that keeps you moving! It can be anything from walking, swimming, riding a bike or getting on the floor to play with your kids/grandkids. Just stay moving and healthy! #physicaltherapy

Pain is your bodies way of saying something isn’t right. Don’t let pain medication be your bandaid that covers up a problem. Instead figure out what causes the pain,inflammation, etc and fix it! #physicaltherapy #movefeellivebetter

You can live weeks without food. Days without water. Only minutes without breathing. Your body will always prioritize breathing, even if it is inefficient or comes at the expense of pain somewhere else in the body. Make sure you can breathe through your diaphragm correctly before addressing pain!

If your doctor gives you an anti-inflammatory for pain, it is the same as you going to a mechanic with a check engine light on and they give you a piece of tape to cover the light up. You haven’t addressed the problem or cause of the inflammation/pain. Movement is medicine! #PhysicalTherapy
