I agree it’s not a good thing but this kind of thing happens at the NIH all the time just not to this degree. We should be alarmed. But using hyperbole to get your point across is what the other side uses to manipulate and we shouldn’t stoop to that level. Not ALL medical research is canceled

It is serious but it is being blown out of proportion. I am a biomedical research funded by the NIH. Things are being delayed not canceled. Hyperbole is a tool used to manipulate and the wording here is just false.

Not all medical research funding was cancelled. Grant reviews are on hiatus, NIH funded travel is restricted etc. Lab’s with current NIH grants still receive funding and HHMI lab’s still receive funding
