NIH contributed to research associated with 99% of drugs approved over last decade.

6 important drugs developed over the past few decades were NIH funded. Keytruda (cancer), Lyrica (epilepsy), Viagra, Truvada (HIV), Ozempic, Sovaldi (Hep C)

That's how I found out the difference. A family member mentioned how much they were paying and I was like what? Maybe I will ask the doctor to fax it to the other pharmacy next time. $40 is $40 these days.

I did bring it up with them and the pharmacist just said that's news to her. But it seems weird to me why name brand prescription would be different at 2 different shoppers.

Anybody experienced Shoppers Drug Mart charging different prices for the same medication. $40 difference in price. Same brand, same med.
