It took several failed orders and then way too much money to get "EU stock" but I finally have a trike with a roof ("shed").

Anyone else have one?

I got this robot a decade or so ago. I never used it because I quickly moved to much larger equipment. I have been wanting to learn ROS2, so I have been trying to bring it up on an RPi5. I am delighted that today I have it up and responding to cmd_vel!

I fostered a couple young male Newfies this winter and sacrificed my favorite shoes. I'm looking for good pull-on waterproof leather work boots. Know of any that are ad-free? The tags and embossing have gotten ridiculous.

My left hand is now "a defeat device." I am so looking forward to my next vehicle.

I'm often asked if I am sad to rehome dogs that I've fostered. Nope. Fostering is valuable and I work with a great rescue group. I know the dogs will go to appropriate homes. (I have also kept dogs that I did not expect to do as well in other homes.)

Now that I make my own yogurt, I no longer throw out plastic containers with yogurt residue. My constituents are not pleased by my environmental stewardship.

When I returned to the farm many years ago, I had a dozen dogs of...uh...demanding breeds. I recently took in an energetic young Newf foster but the six Newfies I have now are still so much easier to manage than a couple Huskies - no blood and lots of naps.

I would gladly pay for curated reviews of Amazon products. I know the reviews I see are lacking because I submitted a review stating that this product, advertised with a 2-pin DT jack, actually has a permanent cable. It was denied. Is there a community solution?

I deployed my first driverless tractor in 2016 so I appreciate tractors as a starting point for automation. Today's equipment would not exist without being constrained by an on-board operator. Eliminate the driver and better solutions will evolve.

I have worked with many animal rescue groups over the decades. I greatly appreciate South Central Newfoundland Rescue (www.scnewfrescue.org). It is run well by great people and it serves a wonderful breed.

I cancelled my subscription to a large newspaper. I want to support independent journalists instead, especially those who participate here. Rather than choose individuals, I prefer to support an organization. Gemini helped me find a few. I welcome suggestions, insight, and guidance.

On a 2023 visit to Seattle I delighted in my first seaplane lesson. I tried it again in San Andreas, CA - amphibious this time. Such fun! Recommended.

Not sure I want to put my own plane on floats but I enjoy considering it.

Bad grammar, disfluencies, jarring flow, and sparse content distract me. Tris consistently nails his presentations with artistry. Help me find more content like this.

I watch a lot of YouTube - mostly tech. I have longed for a service to sift through the loads of generated videos and find the gems. I saw that Bluesky now supports YouTube. I want to start posting videos I find. With tags? Any suggestions? Is this already done?

I've become accustomed to the freedom of going off-leash but the new guy explores more than I prefer. And my older dogs dawdle. I'm more comfortable when we all move together.

I always return thankful that they urged me to appreciate the woods with them.
