A little slide-switch-be-gone update for the #Stylophone #Theremin Aux Antenna mod I'm putting in. I much prefer metal toggles over plastic sliders, so this was always part of the plan. More to come, but #UPS is late again...

I got my #Stylophone #Theremin taken down again and started prototyping a new mod. I really don't show my in-progress stuff, so enjoy these "behind the scenes" shots.
This is my "ugly" stage. I ask that you ignore the scratch... The tool (me) slipped with a sharp tool in her hand. Later me problem!

I disconnected the internal battery box for this (mostly because I wanted to use the plug for ready disassembly later), and have been running it exclusively on a 9v with a battery adapter...

Latest #stylophone tool I put together; An in-line Theredaptor that puts a pair of LDRs in series (original plan was parallel because reasons, but I smoked an entire pot of "broccoli" before I put it together and forgot the plan...) between any of my accessories and the Stylophone.

These types also have the incredible ability to unhinge their jaw, and take boot all the way to the laces.

The other part of that belated gift. Dubreq's #Stylophone Theremin is why I went on my #Moog #etherwave rant because Dubreq has been more loving to the #Theremin concept in this unit than Moog has in the last two+ decades of the instrument.

So do I do the ¼" out and Aux Stylus mods on this..? I really don't want to do much, if anything but I feel like I should..?

Because plugging in the R¡ng (or StimPad) only allowed me to use the built in stylus in tandem... Now I can use it with Stylüs!
Bonus: I can use R¡ng and StimPad between myself and another player and we can both interact with the S1 and X-1 to make weird noisy beats and riffs.

Any #guitarpedel #effectpedal builders, modders and enthusiasts out there that have a good source for in-spec 2.1mm barrel jacks... In pink? Or literally anything but black, red or white..? Bonus if they come with the plug seal. Having a hell of a time sourcing standard items in non-standard forms.
