Very few pieces of media made me feel the way this game had. From anger to profound sadness. Everything about this game is truly masterful. This edges Chrono Trigger as the greatest game I've ever played

I don't think multiplayer is objectively bad. The amount of hours I have had in BG3's multiplayer is more than double my single player time.If VG had had the ability for me and my friends to play the story like we could in bg3 it would have been a day one purchase for all of us

Honestly it was completely off of my radar until I found out that Laidlaw was involved. Glad I tried it. Sad it doesn't gel with you tho

I very much enjoy the combat. Reminds me very much of Dragon's Dogma. I also enjoy most of the camp members with Casmyn being my favorite. I do wish there was more metroidvania type exploration though

Obsidian games have great character writing and strong stories but can be a little janky. It's like if you Mashed Bethesda and BioWare from the early 2000's
