I think dogs and cats are the healers.
My ten year old pup has learned patience, knowing that when the meal is over there will be a tiny hopefully healthy tidbit for her. Or not
She mostly is happy just for the company. Teaching me how to be in the moment

Do you suppose that a tree that has lived for more than 170 years on this acre of ground cares one whit about Monday? Whatever he does won't affect her in the short term. She will probably outlive him and me. Watching the world at a tree's pace makes it more tolerable. .

Well so far from what I can see Bluesky is more of a substitute for Twitter not Facebook and definitely not an alternative to TikTok. Learning more as I go but it seems to be great for information gathering but not so great for simple down home social interaction

The fog has been unrelenting in the part of Southern Oregon where I live. But the sun came out this morning on my own little piece of land. My one piece of the earth that I must care for right here in southern Oregon. , -
