My old "no yaku" moment:
This dates back to November 2009. I certainly did not know yaku then. Saikyo no 3D Mahjong definitely did not teach yaku.
I even checked my first edit dates on Wikipedia regarding yaku: a year later in December 2010.

Very much down in points. So had to push for something better than just "any hand". Therefore, the 7sou at earlier tenpai wasn't good enough.
The kan was an upgrade. And sheer luck got me the haitei tsumo to win this one.
