What the heck is going on with YouTube? I feel like every time I open the site, the video controls keep getting bigger. I have disabled all my extensions and they still appear like this (minus being purple). I am so curious if anyone else is getting this.

So, #YouTube just decided that, out of the blue it is going to do this. Does it when uBlock Origin is disabled, and same with PrivacyBadger. Clearing all browser data doesn't do anything. Ads still come through when uBlock is disabled. YT works fine on my Steam Deck (same setup). This baffles me.
