Justice Sotomayor was completely right about this last week.

Highlights focus on key statements, such as 'that just means it's left to the democratic process and that democracy is the best check on potentially misguided laws.' Justice Sotomayor states, 'When you're 1 percent of the population or less, very hard to see how the democratic process is going to protect you.' She further mentions, 'Blacks were a much larger part of the population, and it didn’t protect them. It didn’t protect women for whole centuries.'

Hello! here are my quick designs of Belle and Ellen for my upcoming fic called Lover's Rock! 😄

In this AU, Ellen (20) is in college and Belle (22) is the guitarist/vocalist of her band. It's in the limbo between lime and lemon rn so idk how to categorize it yet.
