Well we know who would’ve have been the brownshirts and/or in the SS had they been around in Germany in the 30’s. Hatred and oppression never changes it just hides and grows insidiously until it thinks the time is ripe to spew it’s poison once again.

Long view but still relevant today. Interesting that this time they were much better at using many churches and their congregations to further their divide and conquer strategy. Perhaps someday we’ll actually learn and retain the lessons of the past.

A really powerful WWII era "don't be a sucker" piece, that explains how authoritarians have to separate and destroy groups of people so they can take power. I don't usually watch anything this long (22 min) but couldn't stop watching once I started this.
