Hundreds working on it full time means we should have thousands released every week. They're fudging.

Ah, hell. Let's just crowd-source the redactions & be done with it. I'll volunteer to do a couple hundred pages.

How are we the power of NATO if we don't support NATO, instead violating the entire basis of it? This admin has been backing out of NATO and they no longer trust us. We *used to be* a big power of NATO, but these people lost the plot.

I sort of had that fleeting thought when I posted that! Unfortunately, I immediately felt an instinct to lower any expectations. Sad.

The difference in his testimony compared to *anyone* from this current administration or any of their representatives in court (from DoJ) is like night & day when it comes to professionalism, credibility and respectability. Just incredible.

Is there a prize for biggest cry-baby?

Yes - there were parts of the Smith testimony that were quite powerful and moving. He was absolutely amazingly impressive. I'd never want to be opposed to him in court!

And I doubt they've failed to notice Trump has hardly held Russia responsible for its bad behavior - always trying to find ways to excuse it. He's a disaster.

Just as Trump himself does, he's conflating Trump with the USA. They are not one and the same.

This man is so deeply disturbed an utterly ridiculous.

I think it was Jim Jordan who seemed most concerned about their phone records being sought. He seemed far more concerned about that than about the abundance of evidence of Trump's crimes. Gee, I wonder why he's so afraid what we'll know about who he talks to.

Right. Because even if Roberts gave permission to be a lawless president, Congress could impeach and remove him from power. He may not be criminally charged or go to prison, but her certainly doesn't have to be permitted to stay in office, continuing the damage. It's absurd.

'It looks weak' says the person hiding behind anonymity about people who have the guts to go on record with their assessment of the situation. It also completely ignores the nuance with which many are acknowledging the PART that is good while NOT ignoring the dangerous and ridiculous parts.

Retired generals and admirals should speak out collectively. Now is the time for one of those letters signed by 200 of them.

He seems mad that illegal orders might not be obeyed. That's a bad thing. Quite the admission on his part.

What part of 'we're going to run Venezuela' is law enforcement?
January 5, 2026 at 4:44 PM
I would love to interpret this to mean we're deporting Miller to Venezuela. Just an idea.

It's AI, says someone on here.
January 5, 2026 at 6:09 AM
Yeah - probably not many still around since Eisenhower which was probably the last one who wasn't ridiculous in one way or another.
January 5, 2026 at 6:04 AM
Can't forget Miller.

He would LOVE to ban vaccines. We should be prepared to fight that.
