As lesbian, gay and bisexual Labour Party members it is our role to speak up for LGB rights. The Supreme Court decision brought clarity to the interpretation of the Equality Act. It needs to be enforced. Below is our letter to Bridget Philipson to bring it to parliament asap.

Our letter to Wes Streeting is now in his inbox. A letter from lesbians, gay men & bisexuals who protest at more of our young people being used as guinea pigs in the Puberty Blocker Trial. We know from detransitioners that medicalising sexuality does not lead to a happy life.

There have been numerous tweets outlining the harms caused by a PB study. We won’t repeat that. Why is this being considered first? It would be more beneficial for the first study to be on the effectiveness of psychosocial interventions as outlined in the Cass Rev, Rec 3, p 30. PB study Rec 6, p 35.

Still silence about lesbian rights. We are now on day 222 since the Supreme Court judgment. When will the government implement the EHRC guidance? The judgment spoke about lesbians and our rights. Lesbian - a female attracted to other females. Lesbian is not a bad word.

At the Labour Party Conference we launched our website and introduced ourselves to delegates and visitors. If you are LGB and a Labour Party member why not get in contact with us, you can do that via the website labourlgb.org

The recent picture of The Rt. Hon. Lisa Nandy MP with a 'Protect the Dolls' t-shirt was both upsetting and disappointing. Here is our letter to Lisa explaining why and ask her for a moment of reflection and consideration.

The awareness of the SC’s decision on the EA2010 of protected characteristics and only two sexes has not filtered down to the @lionandlobster pub in Brighton. @HumanGayMale were to hold an alternative private Pride meeting there but the pub listened to ‘terfwatch’ and denied service. Boycott

Pool player Harriet Haynes had his case for discrimination against English Blackball Pool Federation @EBPF_Pool THROWN OUT. They stood firm by its policy of excluding males from the female category. What now for @ultimatepool_ & @WepfPool who backed down? Do have a good weekend.

The violence of advocates of the QT+ results in vandalising @wesstreeting office. We express our solidarity with Wes, his constituency workers and neighbouring businesses who should be able to come to work without fear or harrassment. @LabourParty

Just to save you the need of downloading the pdf, we reproduce for you the WDI UK response to the 'Safe With Me' Campaign. Well may the person be safe with you, but are you safe from them?

As Labour Party members, we are concerned that an affiliated socialist society is considering breaking the law by appointing a male into a position reserved for women. We are asking LGBT+ Labour to tell us whether they believe this is permissible. @LGBTLabour @UKLabour

In our zeal to celebrate our LGB pride, we concentrated on people but left out one very important organisation. This is, of course, For Women Scotland. With persistence and tenacity, FWS changed the legal landscape with their Supreme Court victory. We salute you! @ForWomenScot

So the 'Pride' month of June is finally over. Now it's time to reclaim Pride for us - the one's who started it - the Lesbian, Gays and Bisexuals who stood up first to be counted. The LGB fight continues today. Here we are - and allies too.

As we near the end of Pride month, let's celebrate the real stars for their commitment and their achievements. Here is a list of those who have stood up to be counted, some campaigning in the background, but all who have taken pride in our re-emerging LGB community. 👏👏👏

We are concerned about the proposed Conversion Practices Bill. LGB people were not named once in the Bill’s announcement. The Bill is seriously flawed due to the conflict of interests between LGB and TQ+. Including Trans results in LGB conversion to the opposite sex.

With thanks to @LGBAllies_Cymru for this important guide. A celebration of the Supreme Court result for lesbians, gays and bisexuals.

A questionable statement from discredited @stonewalluk . Why, despite calling themselves a charity for LGBTQ+ rights, haven't mentioned importance of clarification of sex for same-sex attracted people i.e. LGB. Rights of assoc'n was central to judgment. Stonewall trans'n to TQ+?

Proposed @NHSEngland service for detransitioners must ALSO support those with problems following hormonal/surgical interventions: ongoing psychosocial difficulties & health complications from treatment. ‘Gender-affirming’ approach of gender clinics is not appropriate for them.

Excellent from Wes Streeting, a speedy response following the publication of this important research from Professor Alice Sullivan.
