We’re rolling out 2000 more free breakfast clubs across the country next year! 🥣🥛

We’ve had a brilliant pioneer locally with Bevois Town School taking part in the pilot, and I’ll be fighting to make sure more participants in this next round are here in Southampton Test. 💪🏾

This week, I’ve secured £20 million for neighbourhoods in Millbrook and Redbridge, through Labour's Pride In Place fund. 💸

Even better, local people will decide how to spend it. 🎉

The shocking anti-social behaviour in Shirley is all over BBC today. Proof we must do more to restore confidence & deter crime.

It’s why I’ve been campaigning for a face-to-face police counter on the High Street.

Been inspired this week, watching on as the House voted to move closer to making Labour's Employment Rights Bill law, despite blocking attempts from the Tories 👎🏾 Lib Dems👎🏾 and Reform.👎🏾

This is the energy mix as reported by the National Grid today, with a whopping 74% of electricity coming from renewables and only 6.8% from fossil fuels. 💨⚡💚

For many in our city, me included, tackling the climate emergency is an absolute priority.

Reassuring to see government work bearing fruit.

I've written to DEFRA urging support for the River Itchen Flood Alleviation Scheme. 💚

Our city is uniquely exposed to flood risk due to being between the Test and Itchen, meeting in Southampton Water, but we can do something about it.
