I think the reason I’ve never been able to get into NL or NH as much as the other games is because being the mayor or having to design the island myself is too much pressure for me

Not being able to decide who moves out and who stays is part of what makes animal crossing realistic. It’s sad when your favourite villager moves out but that prepares you for the rest of life

And yeah I know they’re just game characters and maybe I’m wrong for being so attached to them that I wanna treat them like real people but people need to realise animal crossing isn’t the sims
